Our skin is one of the parts of the body that is most exposed to the external environment and the irritations that it can cause. Exfoliation is an easy, fast and necessary procedure for both women and men. Using the right sponge, this process can become, not only a pleasant and relaxing routine but it can also offer the right hygiene to our body.

What is needed for exfoliation.

In order to do a proper exfoliation, also known as peeling, we need two basic things. The first is a scrub cream of our choice, depending on our skin type and a special sponge for exfoliation, in order to avoid any skin irritations. A natural composition scrub with as few chemical elements as possible is ideal for all skin types as natural products do not corrupt the outer layer of the skin.

There are also special sponges shaped with a soft surface, in combination with the morphology of their cells, thus giving the maximum performance of the cream that you have chosen and avoiding injury. The Treat Me Well Anti-cellulite (sponge) has been created for the needs of women’s skin. Treat Me Well has, of course, taken care of the male population and created the Treat Me Well Men (sponge) which is suitable for male skin.

How to do the right exfoliation.

To exfoliate the body, slowly apply a quantity of scrub- depending on the area of the body. After spreading evenly, we take the special sponge and rub it with gentle circular movements- without pressing our skin too much on the spot where we have applied the scrub.

It is an easy and at the same time very fast process. Let the skin for a few minutes to absorb the substances it needs and eliminate the dead cells. After a few minutes, first rinse the area. We pour lukewarm water, not hot, while at the same time with the sponge we help the dead cells to be removed, with gentle movements, leaving the new skin smooth and rejuvenated. This procedure should be repeated 1 to 2 times a month in winter, while in summer due to sweating of the skin is recommended once a week. After the procedure, a good tip would be to put a moisturizer cream on our skin in the hard areas, where strechmarks and openings are created on the skin. The treatment is recommended to be done in the morning for better results.
